Biography

b. Sweden 1986

Lives and works between Paris and Amman

Tarik Kiswanson’s interdisciplinary work encompasses sculpture, writing, performance, sound, and video. Through the dialogue between these multi- faceted practices emerges a distinctive conceptual language that reflects a commitment to the “poetics of métissage”. His practice is shaped by movement with a sense of belonging nowhere and everywhere, reflecting notions of regeneration and rootlessness.
