Robert Gober is an American sculptor and installation artist which work is frequently related to domestic and familiar objects, being considered a master of making the familiar seem strange. Exploring themes of family, religion, sexuality, alienation and memory, his works have psychological weight and are rife with possible meanings and references. Gober’s works can be found in several collections around the world, such as at the Whitney Museum of American Art and at the Glenstone.
