Erik Lindman

Biography

b. New York 1985

Erik Lindman is a conceptual artist concerned with the culling and reinterpretation of residual objects cast aside during the creative process. Sometimes taking portions of failed paintings or destroyed fragments left around the studio, the artist creates mixed-media paintings and collage, working intuitively and spontaneously. Rejecting notions of finished work, Lindman is fascinated with the possibilities that exist within the studio experience.
