Peter Peri

Biography

Peter Peri is a British artist whose work draws references to geometric Modernism, Russian Avant Garde as well as literary and popular science-fiction. Peri's works produce a specific sense of space and rigor, coupled with pared-down lines and shapes conjoined together, endowing his precise geometric constructions with life and vibrancy. He says, "The subject of my work could be thought of as dissolution, or more precisely the fetishization of dissolution within Modernity." His work is in major collections such as Tate Collection, Victoria and Albert Museum Collection, Zabludowicz collection, UBS and The Silvie Fleming Collection. Selected solo and group exhibitions include: 'Uncting', Almine Rech Gallery, London (2016); 'BLACK & WHITE - Multifarious', Galerie Leu, Munich (2015); 'Dans un intérieur', Almine Rech Gallery, Brussels (2015).
